Meet the Maker
Hi, I'm Carter, the hands behind Looseleaf Collective.
I'm the designer, maker, yarn hoarder, order packer, photographer, website tinkerer, and approximately seventeen other job titles around here.
Looseleaf started as a way for me to reconnect with creativity and build something of my own. Somewhere along the way, I fell in love with punch needle (which is basically drawing with yarn, if you ask me) and this little business started becoming something much bigger than I originally imagined.
How did we get here?
Turns out, I really missed making things.
Looseleaf Co. began during a season of my life when I wanted to find a way back to being creative, not because I needed to be particularly good at something or turn every hobby into something productive, but because making things made life feel a little more like mine.
One experiment led to another, punch needle entered the picture, and, well... now there are tiny yarn cinnamon rolls in my cupholders.
Why Looseleaf?
I don't think everyday things have to be boring.
The little things we surround ourselves with have a funny way of making ordinary days feel a little more special. A coaster shaped like your cat. A tiny red velvet cookie in your cupholder. A project you made yourself and can't stop telling people, "WAIT. I made that."
Looseleaf is my excuse to make everyday life a little more colorful... and hopefully yours, too.

MADE BY HAND
Designed, punched, trimmed, glued, packed, and occasionally stared at for an unreasonable amount of time before I decide it's finished.
-
MADE TO BE YOURS
Pick your colors, choose your favorites, and make it as uniquely you as you'd like.
-
MADE FOR REAL LIFE
Because life's everyday things deserve a little personality too.
Life deserves to be lived in color.
Looseleaf is still growing, changing, and figuring itself out, and I'm incredibly grateful you're here while I build it.
Here's to making things, trying things, and adding a little unnecessary color wherever we can.
